Upcycled & Eco-Friendly Crafts – Discover The Goat Shed Mission

Alright, here’s the deal: it’s just me (unless the dog counts, and honestly, she does – she’s got opinions), out here trying to turn litter into something halfway decent to look at. The goal? Stop junk from piling up by taking all the stuff people toss and giving it a fresh spin—think less landfill, more “hey, that’s actually cool.” You’d be surprised at what you can make from yesterday’s trash. And, yeah, I’m trying to nudge folks toward thinking a bit greener, maybe even spark a little creativity. So, if you’re down for the ride, grab some gloves. We’re making the world slightly less of a dumpster fire. One weird project at a time.

I’ve also got a serious weakness for anything shiny or “potentially useful.” You know that person who can’t walk past a skip without peeking in? Yeah, guilty as charged. One minute I’m just walking the dog, next minute I’m headfirst in a dumpster because, hey, treasure’s treasure (or at least that’s what I tell myself).

Put those two quirks together, and my house starts to look like a low-budget craft supply store. I see stuff, I keep stuff, I swear I’ll make something out of it eventually.

Case in point: nitrous canisters. First, I found six of ‘em. Decided I was gonna build a little foundry, melt them down, make some ingots. Did I know what I’d do next? Nope. But then six became thirty (don’t ask), and let’s just say my wife was not exactly thrilled about my “future art installation.”
